Josiah White’s hosted its Annual Spiritual Life Benefit Dinner, Brushstrokes and Beyond, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, celebrating the many “brushstrokes” it takes to create a masterpiece in the lives of teens and families served. Sponsored by Brotherhood Mutual, the evening featured a farm-to-table meal with beef tips from White’s own cattle, powerful testimonial videos including the Dean family’s foster care journey, and stories from residential students about second chances and spiritual growth. Highlights included a live painting demonstration by artist Haley Vergon, where guests also added their own brushstrokes to a canvas that will hang in the chapel, and uplifting music by Andrea and CJ Mills, ending with a moving rendition of How Great Thou Art. Student servers connected with guests throughout the night, sharing their experiences firsthand. Two students, Alexia and Brad, reflected on the sense of pride, love, and support they felt from the evening and the care shown by attendees. Those unable to attend are still invited to support the Spiritual Life program and help transform lives.
Thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, served, and gave so generously. Your prescence and partnership remind us that together, we are part of God’s greater masterpiece: one painted with faith, hope, and love in the lives of the youth and families we serve.
