Josiah White’s recently received a $25,000 grant from CenterPoint Energy Foundation. The grant funds are to be used as startup costs for the recently launched Conexus Indiana Catapult Training System housed under Josiah White’s vocational development program, Growing Teens for Life.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, CenterPoint Energy, Inc. is an energy delivery company with electric transmission and distribution, power generation and natural gas distribution operations that serve more than 7 million metered customers in Arkansas, Indiana, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma and Texas. CenterPoint Energy Foundation focuses their giving in the areas of Community Vitality and Education, including workforce development, and specifically seeks to fund programs that serve under-resourced populations.
