We are praising God that over 600 people throughout the state joined us for Josiah White’s eight pre-screenings of Angel Studio’s “Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot.” The movie, which officially hits theaters July 4th, tells the true story of how the families of a small church in rural Texas were moved to adopt 77 of the most hard to place children in the state.
Whether or not you were able to make it to one of our pre-screenings, take this opportunity to invite your friends and family to come learn more about the heart behind foster care through this inspiring movie. Click here to view showtimes in your area and view the trailer!
At the end of the movie, viewers will be prompted to take action by visiting the Sound of Hope Impact webpage. If you want to share about the movie and take action with your local church and community, check out the page here.
On July 1, Josiah White’s in conjunction with CarePortal are excited to offer a special invitation for supporters to join forces in praying circles around the official release of Sound of Hope and the churches who will hear the call to join the movement. Joe Knittig and Bishop and Donna Martin will be joining us for this very special time. Join the Prayer Call: Zoom Link
We are excited to see how God will continue to work through this story as even more people experience it and consider what they can do to serve children and families in the foster care system.
